What’s Your Favorite Find From Brimfield?

I have been an avid Brimfield Antique Fair shopper for years. You would be able to confirm this fact by walking through any room of my home… Brimfield has touched each and every one of them!

It has become one of my favorite places to shop thus my reason for starting the #Brimfield Tweet Up last May with Cynthia Bogart of The Daily Basics.

For me, my favorite part of Brimfield (other then our VIP tent of course) is finding furniture for very cheap that just needs a little love. My living room is filled with these Brimfield finds:

Coffee table: $50 and then I painted it in Benjamin Moore Poppy 1315.

Two Matching Chairs: Got both chairs for $60 ($30 each) and then had them recovered in bright aqua and red fabric. brimfield antiquesGold Chair and the Side Table:  This chair was $25 and then I painted it gold and had it recovered in a navy and white striped fabric.  The side table next to it was $15 and I painted it in Benjamin Moore Onyx.

So as you can see it’s relatively easy and quite cheap to style your home from Brimfield.  Hope you can join us on May 10th!

  1. I love your living room Gretchen. Thanks for sharing! I especially love the painted coffee table – what a difference red paint makes. Poppy is one of the few reds I have not used – will keep it in mind now for sure!

  2. Gretchen love your living room. I would like to know more about Brimfield. Not familiar with it. My daughter and I love to transform furniture into a new look!
