Color Chats is kicking off a new feature called Huesday, where each Tuesday we talk about a popular hue. This week the talk of the town has been around the popular pale blue/green hybrid,
seafoam green 2039-60.
Once reserved for outdated, blasé bathroom tiles and cringe-worthy bridesmaid dresses, seafoam green has experienced a rip-roaring resurgence. When this hue is used correctly; it has a cool, vintage look that makes it very appealing. This refreshing hue is awfully close to mint green but a little more subdued.
This mood board found on HGTV had me swooning of seafoam green in all its possibilities.
Vintage Car Print/Etsy :: Retro Refrigerator/fine ting og sjokolade :: Seafoam Green Kitchen/BHG :: Gown/Karen Caldwell Design ::Fabric Party Garland/Etsy :: Dining Room/Design Style :: Faux Taxidermy/Trampt :: Seafoam Sangria/The Fairy Godmothers :: Lucite Beads/Delphine’s Flower Bead Shop :: Seafoam Ikat/Spoonflower
We saw seafoam green make a huge comeback this Spring/Summer in the fashion world and it quickly entered the home decor industry. Here are some stunning spaces using this refreshing hue.

What’s your take on seafoam green? Do you Love it or Hate it?

This is the exact new color I am doing in my Bathroom. So glad to see it everywhere. Don’t like blues, but if you add a little “foam” to them, it’s perfect!
I couldn’t agree more Mary Ellen! Thanks for taking the time to read the post and share your thoughts. Good luck on your bathroom project. I hope you share a picture on the Benjamin Moore Facebook page once it’s done! – Michelle
