With Thanksgiving right around the corner, it seems as if there are delicious looking recipes everywhere. Since color inspiration can really come from anything, here are rooms that look like they could have been inspired by color rich foods.
Take this palatable Honey and Rosemary Brined Turkey with Herb Riesling Gravy as an example. This roasted turkey is as delectable as the tyler taupe (HC-43) and warmed cognac AF-235 color combination which contrasts beautifully with this rich wood furnishings.
Do you see the similarity between this traditional green entry with this not so traditional salad? The mix of wasabi (AF-430) green with vintage wine (2116-20) is sure to perk up your hallway; the same way Manchego, Apple and Almond Salad with Honey-Lemon Vinaigrette will perk up your the dinner table!
Infuse a dining room with warmth and intensity with a colorful accent wall. In the image below masada AF-220 was paired with citrine AF-370. Blending a variety of design ingredients into one appetizing whole similar to a Provençal Fresh Tomato Soup.
The kitchen is the perfect space to capture the colors of cranberry sauce. Start by applying a warm, welcoming hue like baked clay 035 and add a complement like beachcrest sand 114. If the color combination doesn’t have your mouth watering, this yummy Cranberry Sauce with Candied Ginger will.
All of these appetizing recipes were found on Whole Foods.
Which deliciously inspired color combination is your favorite, Fresh Tomato Soup or Gingered Cranberry Sauce?

I love the connection of food(s) with color. It also happens to be two of my favorite things; food & color. Just as we can bring back a memory of an event with the colors, we can remember a meal at someone’s home or in a restaurant, with the colors.
Thank you for giving me an appetite at lunch time!
